Refund Policy

Last updated: May 2026. We follow the standard refund practices of our payment processors, Stripe and Paddle.

Free trial

Every new ClearSocial subscription begins with a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being billed.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period and will not be charged again.

Standard refunds

Following the standard practices of Stripe and Paddle:

  • Within 14 days of a charge — if you were billed unexpectedly, did not use the service after renewal, or are otherwise unsatisfied, contact us within 14 days and we will issue a full refund.
  • Duplicate or accidental charges — refunded in full, no questions asked.
  • Service unavailable — if a sustained outage prevents you from using ClearSocial, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the affected period.

Statutory rights (EU / UK)

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. By starting to use the service during this period, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the digital service has been fully provided. Even so, our 14-day refund window above applies.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe or Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first — we'll almost always sort it out faster than a chargeback. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in account suspension.

How to request a refund

Reach out via our Contact us page with your account email and the date of the charge. Most requests are handled within 1–2 business days.
